I have done my B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from Rayat and Bahra Institute of Engg. and Biotechnology ,Punjab (India) in July,2009 securing 88% marks. I was honored with the Bronze medal from the Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar ,Punjab (India) for the outstanding academic performance as an undergraduate student. .I have done my 6 months internship at Fortis Heart Institute, Mohali ,Punjab (India) in Biomedical Instrumentation department. I have been an active participant in CSIO (Central Scientific Instruments Organization) labs, Image Processing Division for 2 months ,where I worked on Cancer Therapy and EPID(Electronic Portal Imaging Device).
I have worked on the following Biomedical Engineering Projects:
- Designing of digital FIR filters using MATLAB
- Operation and maintenance of Echocardiography Technique (ECHO) used to detecting the heart-diseases.
- Repairing and Troubleshooting of various Biomedical Equipments used in Hospitals.
I have worked as lecturer in Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology, Faridkot, Punjab (India) from Feb.2010 till Aug. ,2010 where I taught: Biomedical instrumentation, Biomaterials, Medical Image Processing and Biomechanics. My area of interests are Biomechanics and Biomaterials. Currently I am doing my M.A.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering.
